Night eco camp Collection from your hostel/hotel in Punta Arenas. We will then head towards the San Isidro Lighthouse area located on the southern point of the Brunswick peninsular, the southern most point of the Americas. We will board the vessel Esturion and sail out through the Magellan Straight to Carlos III Island. During the 7-hour journey we will have lunch on board before arriving at the Francisco Coloane Marine Park. Here we will take a tour to familiarize ourselves with the layout of our eco camp and if weather conditions permit take an excursion to see humpback whales and other marine birds with an introduction of the area by our guide. We will be enjoying dinner in the dining tent at the eco camp. Lunch and Dinner included (limited wine included). Day 2 Boat and paddle across Whale Sound. Night camp After breakfast while enjoying stunning views of the Magellan Straits we will walk down to the water to prepare our paddling equipment for our exciting day ahead. We will load the kayaks and ourselves on board the Esturion and sail out towards Seno Balleno (whale Sound) while our guide acquaints us with paddling and safety procedures for the day kayaking. On arrival at our destination, we put our kayaks in and start our sea kayak journey to see humpback whales, marine birds and sea lions - a truly unforgettable experience. Afternoon return to the Carlos III camp for dinner. All meals included (limited wine included with dinner). Day 3 Paddle to penguin and sea lions. Night camp. After breakfast we will once again be putting our kayaks in to begin kayaking along verdant green waters to Rupert Island to visit the penguin and sea lion colonies. Returning to camp for lunch we will in the afternoon be heading out to Batchelor River to explore the area by kayak. There is the possibility of sighting the fabulous killer whale in these waters. Dinner and lodging at Carlos III camp. All meals included (limited wine included with dinner). Day 4 Paddle Serrano lagoon. Boat to Puerto Natales This is our last morning at camp. We board the Esturion and head back to Punta Arenas, navigating the Magellan Straits with lunch served on board. During the voyage you will have the last chance to see the humpback whales close up. We arrive in Punta Arenas late afternoon where you will be transferred to your accommodation. Breakfast and lunch included. |
