Day 1: San Pedro Sula - Copan

Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the San Pedro Sula International Airport andtransferred to Copan Ruins through the scenic landscape of Honduras’ westernterritory - 2.5 hours drive. As you arrive, you will have the first glimpse of thecolonial town of Copan Ruins and you will check-in to your hotel.

Day 2: Copan Archaeological Park (Underground Tunnels and Sculptural Museum)

Morning departure to the Main Archaeological Park where our tour guide will lead you through this historical site. The relief in the carvings and hieroglyphic inscriptions have made Copan one of the most important centers of Maya studies. This is where history was carved in stone. The underground tunnels, Los Jaguares and Rosalila, lead you to one of Copan´s most important temples, Rosalila. You will see a full replica of the temple at the Sculptural Museum. Optional twilight visit to Macaw Mountain Bird Park.

Day 3: Copan

You will visit the Sepulturas Archaeological Site, the place where the ancient ancestors were buried underneath the nobility living quarters. Afterwards, you will stop by the Ceramic Museum in town. Early afternoon you will go through a Butterfly Sanctuary that has all the different species that inhabit the valley. From there, you will leave for a twilight visit to Hacienda San Lucas where you will admire a spectacular sunset.

Day 4: Copan - San Pedro Sula - Roatan

Early morning departure to the San Pedro Sula Airport for your domestic flight to Roatan. You will be transferred to your hotel. Free time to enjoy the beach.

Day 5 - 7: Roatan

Beach, snorkeling, sea kayaking.

Diving is available at the resort: from US$30 per dive.

Optional tours are available at hotel tour desk: Island Tours, Fishing, Zipline Canopy, Dolphin Encounter and Marine Parks.

Day 8: Roatan - San Pedro Sula Airport

You will be transferred for your domestic flight to San Pedro Sula Airport to take your international flight or post-extension tour to La Ceiba.
