Day 1: San Pedro Sula - Copan (D)

Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the San Pedro Sula International Airport and transferred to Copan Ruins through the scenic landscape of Honduras’ western territory - 2.5 hours drive. As you arrive, you will have the first glimpse of the colonial town of Copan Ruins and you will check-in to your hotel. Welcome Dinner

Day 2: Copan Archaeological Park (B,L,D)

(Underground Tunnels and Sculptural Museum) Morning departure to the Main Archaeological Park where our tour guide will lead you through this historical site. The relief in the carvings and hieroglyphic inscriptions have made Copan one of the most important centers of Maya studies. This is where history was carved in stone. The underground tunnels, Los Jaguares and Rosalila, lead you to one of Copan ́s most important temples, Rosalila. You will see a full replica of the temple at the Sculptural Museum. Optional twilight visit to Macaw Mountain Bird Park.

Day 3: Copan (B,L,D)

You will visit the Sepulturas Archaeological Site, the place where the ancient ancestors were buried underneath the nobility living quarters. Afterwards, you will stop by the Ceramic Museum in town. Early afternoon you will go through a Butterfly Sanctuary that has all the different species that inhabit the valley. From there, you will leave for a twilight visit to Hacienda San Lucas where you will admire a spectacular view while enjoying a Maya dinner. Lunch in town and Dinner in Hacienda San Lucas

Day 4: Copan - San Pedro Sula - Utila (B,L,D)

Early morning departure for your domestic flight or ferry boat to Utila via La Ceiba. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Utila Island. This island is one of the most beautiful and unexplored of the Bay Islands. It is a friendly tourist and diving paradise with very limited access to commercial tours. Snorkeling and Diving are magnificent considering that this small island is protected by the second largest barrier reef in the world. You can organize your daily dives through any of the dive shops available in Utila!!!

Day 5: Utila (B,L,D)

Beach activities, snorkeling, sea kayaking or island exploring. Diving is available at the resort: from US$30.00 per dive. All-inclusive Plan at Resort

Day 6: Utila - La Ceiba (B,L,D)

Return flight to La Ceiba where you will be greeted and transferred to the Lodge at Pico Bonito. This mountain resort is located on the skirt of the magnificent Pico Bonito National Park. The resort is named after the beautiful peak that emerges from the middle part of this mountain range. After lunch at the resort, you can sign in for some nature encounter activities.

Day 7: La Ceiba (B,L,D)

After breakfast, you will go to the Jungle River Lodge for an ecological adventure. You will choose between the Zipline Canopy Tour or River Rafting. The friendly attention and high experienced guides combined with the set-up at the River Lodge will ensure a wonderful ecological experience in Honduras. By noon, you will go back to the Pico Bonito Lodge where a nice warm lunch will be ready for you. In the afternoon you can relax and enjoy the resort or you can sign in for some nature encounter activities.

Day 8: La Ceiba - San Pedro Sula Airport (B)

After breakfast, you will leave for your domestic flight to the San Pedro Sula Airport to take your international flight or post-extension tour
